Black Plums

They are grown in Lazio (in the Latina area) and in Emilia (especially in the Vignola area). “Black” plums are elliptical in shape. The peel is purple with brownish tinges and is covered by a natural substance called wax bloom. Their delicious yellow-green pulp is very compact and sweet.
