PGI red radicchio from Treviso

This is a late-season vegetable that is grown exclusively in a safeguarded area according to strict production guidelines that guarantee the origin and quality of the products purchased by the customer. It is crunchy with a slightly bitter flavour that has a hint of spring water to it. It can be eaten raw, with an oil, salt, and pepper dressing, in a salad, or cooked either on a grill or wrapped in foil and baked in the oven.
