Date Tomato

Solarelli date tomatoes are grown in the production areas of Emilia-Romagna. The distinguishing feature of date tomatoes is their small, elongated shape, resembling a date. Their skin is a deep shade of red and the flesh has a strong and sweet flavour.
Containing high levels of vitamins A and C, they are best used for making salsa for pasta, as a seasoning for bruschetta or simply added to salads. They are also excellent as they are.
