Solarelli carrots are grown in highly-specialized production areas which focus on locally-sourced cultures in the regions of Lazio, Sicily, and Abruzzo. Solarelli carrots are the result of an innovative culture technique that yields smaller, more tender tubers, while preserving all the nutritional characteristics and taste of a “normal” carrot. Solarelli carrots are particularly tasty when served raw with an oil, salt and pepper dressing, or in a salad.
