Prickly Pears

Of the “bastardone” variety, these prickly pears are grown in Sicily. The “bastardoni” are bigger, sweeter and contain less seeds than their “wild” counterparts. They can contain “white pulp”, “yellow pulp” and “red pulp” and can be eaten on their own, or used to make jams, drinks and syrups.
